When I first started looking at PPC management and Google Adwords, my first thought was – yes, I can definitely do this myself, after all, it was just keywords that mattered then. But when I started poking around the system and realized I wasn’t a very technical person, I found it hard to make my pay per click advertising useful for my campaigns and my business. I ended up having to spend so much money just for my pay per click account and that was not a good sign for my business.
So, when a friend suggested that I needed an expert, I started to wonder – why bother?
For beginners in online businesses, here’s why you should hire an expert on managing your PPC:
First, pay per click can be a truly fruitful marketing campaign – if you know how to set it right. The better you know how to strategize and re-strategize your campaign, the better you’ll find yourself seeing the benefits of your campaign. A real expert on pay per click should know how to restructure a campaign based on the daily changes of your keyword’s success. Once your keyword has risen to the top, it may be time to strike on a new keyword.
Second, there are several pay per click techniques that newbies are not aware of. Companies who manage different ppc campaigns happen to use a lot of strategies that will lower the cost of advertising cost. Instead, ppc management companies find ways to extend their client’s budget for their client to feel the real benefits of ppc. Of course, strategies won’t be given away by these companies because they have formulated it themselves and have perfected it through time and experience.
Third, companies that offer PPC management may also offer a full packaged SEO campaign that may also benefit your business. There are perks in doing pay per click advertising alone but do not lose sight on the better benefits of doing both PPC and SEO. Listen to their plans and strategy because you might actually like the kind of marketing strategy they offer to their clients which only promises better return on investments.
These three things are important factors to consider in thinking of acquiring a pay per click service. You, as a beneficiary of the said internet marketing technique must at some point understand these things to prove that these marketing strategies are worth the penny spent for your business’ success. Having better understanding of these will actually save you from overspending and will give you a clearer view of which path to take.
To free yourself from the hassle and bustle of committing mistakes and spending money, take a ppc management expert’s advice and help. This will make things easier for you and better for your business.
Marissa Mayer is currently trending in nationwide searches. If you have no idea who she is, then you must be living under a rock. My internet lover friends, meet Marissa Mayer, the first female employee of Google and current Google Vice President of Search Product and User Experience – at least until she turned over and became CEO of Yahoo.
Now that’s some form of backstabbing news, right? Before you get all defensive for our beloved Google, hear out my news first.
Shocking just about everyone in the world, (fine, every person involved in internet marketing such as PPC management and SEO), Yahoo announced their new CEO, who will undoubtedly bring a lot of experience (take note, she did come from Google) for her ex-boss’ strongest competitor. Not only was the media NOT aware of her candidacy for the post, but Marissa Mayer is also the first female employee of Google, dubbed as No. 20. She will resign from her old post today and join Yahoo by Tuesday.
Mayer, who is delighted with the new job, is looking forward to leading her former boss’ competitor.
Talk about guts, huh? Or was it just some old fashioned politics? Either or, Yahoo sure got themselves a gem.
After 14 years in the company she hasn’t met, the 37 year old, brilliant ex-Google Executive will replace Ross Levinsohn, who had been the primary candidate for the post since Jason Kilar, Hulu CEO dropped out of his candidacy just earlier this month.
After FIVE CEOs just this year, will Mayer be the right one for Yahoo?
Hearing this news, I can’t wait for the upcoming months and years! Surely, Mayer’s will be able to bring much more to Yahoo with her extensive experience. Since I watched Google grow and develop into becoming one of the most powerful search engines and Multinational Corporation, I can’t wait to finally see Yahoo get its real break. Yes, Yahoo is also one of the big companies out there, but when it comes to SEO and increasing page ranks, pay per click advertising and search engines, it is always Google at the front of the line.
Now that Mayer will be bringing her experience into Yahoo, are we looking at a future where Yahoo would be essential for Page Rank, Pay Per Click Management and SEO as well? Would there be a Yahoo Koala? I kid. Or am I?
What do you think, guys? Should Google be worried? Or as internet marketing geeks, should WE be worried?
How many times did you have to write and rewrite your pay per click ad, just because it doesn’t turn out to be a success? Well, welcome to my world! As an internet marketer myself, it took me quite a long time to get the hang of writing a pay per click ad. In fact, it took me awhile to realize that writing the ad is just as important as bidding on keywords.
You see, once upon a time, I thought that keywords were essential to proper PPC management. As long as the ad had a few keywords or more, I was done. But it turns out that if your ad isn’t attractive enough to visit, then it won’t be effective, keywords and all.
So, after successfully failing several campaigns, I finally found myself studying on how to write a successful PPC ad. Here are some of my findings:
Do write a short, powerful ad
While I love a challenge, writing a PPC ad doesn’t just require you to create a slogan of some sort. It requires you to attract a person’s interest, emotionally, in the shortest and most powerful words you can use. Now, even if I’m some sort of National Best-Selling author, I think this will still be hard for me. How was I supposed to put all of the features and benefits into one, short sentence?
When you’re writing an ad for your pay per click campaign, you need to be clear on what you want to happen. Your ads need to be creative, concise and as much as possible, straight to the point. The trick to this is to think as if you’re the customer. What words will make you want to click?
Do not overuse keywords, since it is not a necessity anymore
Yes, keywords remain an integral part of managing your pay per click ads. However, if you happen to stuff everything into that short sentence, you end up creating an ad that everyone will only consider to be spammy and unwelcoming.
Do include a reason and goal in your ad
When searching for a product or item using Google search, everyone will see your ads first. But if your ad doesn’t contain a reason for them to click it, they’ll simply scroll down to other results. Your ad needs to convey a reason for them to click and what will happen when they click.
Complicated? Yes. But if you’re able to write that one or two lines of powerful and inviting words, you can end up attracting more customers to your website.
Does your pay per click ad have all these?
Did you know that writing the correct PPC ad has an effect on the overall success of your campaign? Yes, I didn’t know either. As far as I was concerned, as long as I was bidding on keywords and my ad had the right keywords, it was enough to get people to visit my site. After all, it is the first thing they’ll see when they’re making a search.
Unfortunately, these days, with Google’s algorithms constantly changing and all the local search engine optimization techniques evolving, keeping up with the latest trends is essential, especially when it comes to PPC management services, where big money may be involved.
This is why I decided to recognize my mistakes when it comes to pay per click and after much research and study of the results of my campaign, I realized that yes, how I write the PPC ad may actually have an effect on my campaign. Here are the most common mistakes I made when writing my ads:
Stuffing the ad with keywords
In the past, when keywords made a huge effect on most top SEO strategies, I thought stuffing the ad with as much relevant keywords was enough to catch the attention of customers. I realized that these keywords are much too vague and unhealthy because they say nothing about the business or what I can offer. Instead of attracting customers, they find my ad a little too SEO-optimized.
Lack of creativity and attractiveness for the customer
Because I was so focused on keywords, I didn’t realize that a creative ad was much more important than putting in a lot of relevant keywords. These ads are advertisements after all, and the more enticing an ad was, the bigger the possibility that users will see the website as an actual helpful search result, rather than a sponsored ad.
Lack of a good and intriguing headline and effective template
In order to actually attract users to look at the ad, the headline must be catchy. It’s not just about keywords anymore. This time, creativity is an important factor to catch a user’s attention. A good ad template should include an intriguing headline, a powerful benefit to convince the user to continue to read the ad and another feature that may also be attractive or supportive to the previously mentioned benefit.
Before I start using pay per click advertising, I double-check to make sure that I do not make these mistakes again. What about your ads? Are you making the same mistakes?
Now that we know that good call to actions in our limited ppc ad space can mean the world to our business given that we keep up the promises we put in there (this was discussed in Bad vs. Good Advertising), our goal now is to let our clients stay in our specified landing pages. Keep in mind that internet users have short attention span; that they have to immediately see what they’re looking for. We cannot afford to make them leave our page after clicking our ads.
We have to consider certain things to make our target client stay in our page. One of the considerations is the design. Remember that pleasing a human being is more important than pleasing a robot. The landing page should not only be robot friendly, but human eye friendly. We have to make our landing pages pleasing; make it an eye candy and user friendly. Make sure that the targeted keyword and/or product can be easily seen in a single scan. This will keep your customer stay in that page.
Next, consider giving your customer the best knowledge they could get. We don’t just sell out our product or service to our client; we also inform them. We give them the knowledge they are looking for. We give the pros and cons of our product or service so they stay on the page. This will help your client decide whether he or she will seal a deal so you better do well in giving out information.
Apart from design and knowledge, your targeted client looks for something special. Go the extra mile by offering free services that they cannot resist. For example, if you sell products, bundle in some free deliveries if your client purchased x amount. Or, if you sell services, you could offer free consultation or free business analysis before going to the deal proper. I’m sure, you could think of various extra services that will convince your client. By doing this, you convince them to make a sale or close a deal.
Just keep your targeted client happy and your ledgers will also be happy. That is what good businessmen does to establish a long-term relationship with their clients and to gain more clients. Making you’re already clients happy could lead to free and effortless marketing in the future because your clients will do the marketing for you.
As what we are always told, pay per click advertising drives instant traffic to websites. That is true for certain circumstances and false otherwise. How do we know that our ppc campaign is already causing harm rather than good to our company? That question is very important if really want to add traffic to our website through ppc. Let me explain to you the reason why it is important.
Let me start with false advertising in general. False advertising or deceptive advertising is the use of false or misleading statements in advertising. As advertising has the potential to persuade people into commercial transactions that they might otherwise avoid, many governments around the world use regulations to control false, deceptive or misleading advertising. This was according to Wikipedia.
Now that you have a clear idea what false advertising is, I’d like to continue with the real issue: how does it do good or bad to your campaign?
Advertisements are made to influence, to convince, to persuade and with that being said; with great influence comes great responsibilities. We want to sell or close a deal with our targeted consumers. Those consumers could become our loyal costumers which could later do the advertising for us.
When do we say that our advertisement is causing harm? Once you tried to deceive your potential consumers, there is only one option left to them; that is not to trust you anymore. As part of that distrust, they would not allow other consumers to fall on the same trap; they will educate consumers and let them know how deceiving your advertisements are. Or worse, they would let authorities know of your deceiving acts.
When do we say that our advertisement is doing well? That is when we serve our consumers what we promise them. A kick ass content in your limited pay per click ad space plus excellence in service and/or best quality product as promised will definitely leave an impression. Yes, it is that simple. You do not guarantee things you cannot deliver.
That is the name of the game when it comes to pay per click advertising. Since digital marketing is the new avenue for branding, garnering high trust ratings from internet users will be of big help. So please be careful in choosing your word in that limited ppc ad space because users could always click that back button. And that means, increase bounce rate. Remember, good relationship and high trust ratings will let your business survive and serve its purpose to gain income.
We both know that there are two common types of practice in the field of search engine optimization, the white hat practices and the black hat practices. Those who follow the codes of optimization are called white hats, while those people whom go a little bit way beyond the ethics are considered spammers or black hat.
The recent changes in search engines algorithm especially Google’s Panda and Penguin update hit almost every website, penalizing those who are considered spam. Supposedly, black hat practitioners should already stop, but no, they continue sending and creating more spam that ever.
Did it ever wonder to any of you why black hat is still ongoing? Didn’t it ever cross your mind that, yeah I am an SEO why not try some black hat tactics? Moreover, is there really a full proof white hat? I mean not even a single ounce of black hat practice?
Some internet marketing experts stated that you can’t really tell if a certain Ecommerce Web Designer administer a design that is favorable only for white hat practices unless you checked the coding. Again, is there a full proof of white hat only?
As a member of an established Search Engine Optimization Company and a part time blogger, there is a time that I wonder if there really is a clean white hat and so I tried asking different persons in the same field, and you know what I learned?
They can’t also tell as much as I can’t clarify it to myself, perhaps at some point of your link building promotion you’ve stumble on something or performed a tiny bit black hat without even noticing. Maybe at some point of optimizing a website you have added a code or something, a command or a meta that can actually be considered as a spam by the search engines. It’s a fifty-fifty result.
So now I am asking you, your view on this issue, are there really a purely white hat link building/promotion?
Below is something I stumble upon while researching:
Do you still remember the time when your mobile phone is only used to call? Then after a year or two you can already composed a message and send it to someone on your list, then in a jiffy here we are with smartphones, androids and all. Suddenly text messaging is a taboo, all smartphone owners can now send email, take picture and use the social networks through their phones.
Internet marketing experts saw the huge market it will bring for Ecommerce Websites, while Ecommerce web designers are busy catering the demands that mobile commerce would bring.
A recent study shows that $5.04 billion will the estimated mobile advertising profit by the year 2015.
See the infographic below for a more precise understanding on what I am trying to say:
What's a traditional cellphone anyway? For sure all of us have experience using one, or perhaps seen one, a cellular phone in which one can composed and send text message, call someone, play games snake to be exact.
Tell me one person in our generation who didn't play snakes in nokia 3310 in which other features are stop watch and calculator among other things.
On the other hand, smarthphones are mini computers, does this make sense? Well, cellular phones using operating systems similar/close to computers.
Smartphone users are usually if not generally, are those ages 25 to 34, for me its because its the time where we don't have such great responsibilities such as wife and kids, during those age we are starting our careers while other are at the peak, thus, smartphone's are must have's. Dealing with future investors or composing an email while stuck on traffic, reading news etc.
See, as stated on the first paragraph, mobile commerce is a huge market that the business sector shouldn't miss.
Why smartphone's? For sure all smartphone users either have laptops or tablets, but why smartphone? I have a laptop and a smartphone, but come to think of it, I uses my phone more than my laptop.
At work I always have my phone beside me, to text, check my calendar, call someone, play a game, log on facebook, while my laptop is used only during weekends or at night and the laptop I'm using at the office is used for job alone, well sometimes for checking my FB.
See the huge effect of using smartphone's? Anyway here's the whole infographic, thanks to HighTables.com

A moment ago I was checking my site on the tools SEOMoz provides and was glad I did. I found out a lot of things to improve a website or a blog and it’s really interesting to know that certain common practices are hurting our own website. That sometimes what we learned to be good is bad and what’s bad is sometimes good.
Take for example a certain website that uses the keyword "Search Engine Optimization Company" actually it’s a competitor’s blog I checked.
So there on the research tools SEOMoz provides I used the On-Page Optimization option, enter the keyword and URL then run the report. It was a shocking result knowing they have a much better reputation that BIMC, nevertheless, they still have an excellent grade from SEOMoz thinking that it was launched for about three-four months.
Things to Learn

And that's it, a rundown back memory lane. Some of it are so 2000 late but hey, we need to go back the basics to fully understand the present. I do hope you dont take it against me for not explaining this topic further, and I do pray you read the images so you can understand it without me explaining.
Pardon me for posting this last par way
too late, just got a little bit busy with other things that I miss out posting
this one.
Video Transcription: As stated on the
previous parts of “How to Avoid over Optimization Penalty?” these are all my
own understanding about Rand Fish’s lecture. If any case there’s something that
I may, or may have understand or stated incorrectly tell me so I can make
amends. If you have a much better explanation, leave your comment and let the
readers see how you view this topic.
Footer Filled with Links
Instead of adding information that
footer’s usually carry’s, you filled it with your list of links which is not a
good idea, moreover, it’s unnoticeable, gray font on a gray template.
Text Content Blocks
It’s a phrase, a whole sentence and worst
a whole paragraph of nonsense after a really engaging explanation or
information of something, a certain topic in which you as a reader is too
engrossed reading and then wham bam!, something way too unrelated to what the
former paragraph is.
Do you remember “keyword repetition””
It’s like in every paragraph or at the very least a few times your keyword
should be included in your content so that it helps the search engine, but I’m
telling you, this so 2000, back there, Panda even Penguin has not even crossed
the minds of search engine engineers.
What’s important today is content. Again,
what we need and what matters most to search engines are informative, useful,
high quality and relevant content.
Now that you know this things, as much as
possible even if you have little knowledge in this field or you are in the
point where you were going to asked for the assistance of a search engine
optimization agency, at least you have this account, this list as a guide in
checking if the one you hired is doing good thing on your website or is
probably creating, administering something bad that will soon be the end of
your ecommerce website.
In terms of Internet Marketing, even
Search Engine Optimization which one do you prefer, Black hat or White Hat? We
both know the difference between the two, internet
marketing experts will definitely choose white hat because they already
know what’s in store for them, but for the benefit of those who can’t
distinguish the difference, those who just started in this arena, I’ll discuss
it a little bit.
White Hat Tactics are techniques that
follow certain ethics, no for me, white hats follow ethics, search engine
guidelines and terms of service moreover, they administer campaigns that are
not hurtful to other SEO’s as well as the website itself.
On the other hand, Black hat are those
techniques that are considered spammy and in the long run will hurt the website
because black hat doesn’t follow the guidelines that search engines lay out.
So the question now is what will you
choose, Black hat or White hat?
In black hat you’ll be buying links and
perform link exchanges, while on white hat one can build a link building
strategy.
Search Engines, particularly Google wants
the best possible result for their users, best meaning a website that gives a
trusted, relevant, useful and informative content. White hat practices covers,
content writing, keyword analyzing, and most of the time asked the help of Ecommerce Web Designers in terms of the
website’s design for a better and friendly navigation.
On the other hand, black hats will
perform link exchange “I’ll link to you if
you link to me.” The worst thing here is that most of the time this websites share
a different niche, meaning no relation at all. So where is the relevancy here?
Moreover, you’ll definitely need to spend some cash to be able to do link
exchange especially for websites that are already trusted and authorities of
their own.
Next, black hats implement keywords stuffing,
while as stated earlier, white hats analyze keywords. Once you analyze keywords
you can incorporate the best possible one, a keyword that can cater a broader
category resulting to a more targeted audience without the need to over stuff all
possible keywords in the content.
Remember, what you need is trust and to be
able to gain one, you need visitors, and visitors are not just search engine
bots, readers, a target audience, so what does an audience want, content,
informative, useful, relevant, not something that gives unrelated, keyword
stuffed information.
Another technique that SEO’s perform is being
active on social networks. Having one profile is much better than launching
countless social profiles that you cant be active all the time.
We all know how social media becomes a big part
in terms of search engine optimization. Signals coming from twitter, facebook,
linkedin, pinterest etc are considered to be a source of ranking factors for
every web page. Having more than one profile can’t really build a social
following, you cant interact and be active all the time because you have numerous
accounts to handle unlike having one social profile that targets a broader
category in which you can be active 24/7 if you want.
So in the end, the question is still which is
which, Black Hat over White Hat, it’s not up to you.
Most of the big ingredients about search algorithm recipe are known but usually neglected and was placed below the to-do list. Let’s take a look.
Words Matter
First, words matter. Of course, it is a well known for Seos that search engines account for every word on the web. This way when someone search for phrase like “internet marketing service”, the search engines can either result to only the pages that where about “internet marketing service”.
Titles Matter
The second one is titles matter. Each page on the web has official title and you may not ever see it because it’s in the website or page code. Did you know that search engines pay a lot of attention to page titles? Yes, because page tiles often summarize the whole page just like a book and its title.
Links Matter
One of the most important recipes that are included in search algorithm is the links between websites matter. When one webpage links to another page, it’s usually a recommendation telling readers that the latter site or page has good information. A webpage that has a lot of links coming to it can look good to search engines.
Key Points:But some people are trying to fool search engines by creating or buying bogus links all over the web that points to their own website. You should take note that search engines like Google or Bing can now detect when the sites has a lot of them and usually they account for it by giving links to trustworthy sites more weight in the search algorithm recipe.
Words in the Links Matter
Yes, the words that are used in the links matter too. If your webpage says “Amazon has lots of books.” And the word “books” is linked. Search engines can established that amazon.com is related to the word “books”. So that when someone searches for the word “books” that site will rank well on search engines.
Reputation Matter
Lastly, search engines care about the website reputations. Websites with the consistent record of fresh and engaging content as well as with the growing numbers of quality links pointing to it maybe considered a soaring high in search results or even top the rankings.
Thoughts:These are just the basics about search algorithm recipe. The recipes are refined and change all the time (See Google Panda Update and Penguin Update). Always remember that a good seo professional or internet marketer is about making sure that your website has a great, original, relevant and quality content that supported by the ingredients that search engines need for their recipe.
In the recent topics, we posted something
about Over Optimization Penalization,
if you really read the articles and watched the video embedded on those posts;
definitely you’ll have an idea on what will be the next target once Google
updates its algorithm.
Well, recently another major change in
the search results happened, just like when the time of Panda Update, although
we are looking forward to it (to prepare our sites) its still a bit nerve
wrecking right, anticipating what will happen and if you have administer the
correct optimization on your website.
So okay, going back to the topic, Google
announced that they will launch another search update, and it’s not Panda where
websites with low quality pages are the target, this time, it’s about content.
Yes, content, websites performing spam in their contents, this includes keyword
stuffing, link schemes, cloaking and duplicate contents (I mean here really duplicate,
word by word, phrase by phrase, everything).
Here’s what Google Webmaster Central
stated:
“In
the next few days, we’re launching an important algorithm change targeted at
web spam. The change will decrease rankings for sites that we believe are
violating Google’s quality guidelines. This algorithm represents another step
in our efforts to reduce web spam and promote high quality content.”
Just to come clean, since Matt Cutts
stated or rather warned almost all SEO and Search Engine Optimization Company
about the update Google will be implementing, “the over optimization penalty” . Yes and no. It is the update he
was talking about, but it’s different from the “over-optimization statement”
wherein it’s target is the SEO.
He clarified that the update will target
content, thus using another name to illustrate the up-coming update is much
better since what they were launching will target spam contents and not an over
optimized website.
Countless debate arise on what will be
the name of the new update, thus to cut it out they release the name Penguin.
Video Transcription: As stated on the Part I of this topic, these are all my own understanding about Rand Fish’s lecture and if there are something that I may, or may have understand incorrectly you can tell me and give me your own view on how well you understand the topic.
Manipulative Internal Links
“Links on the side bars, on the content and on the footer with the same exact anchors to the same page over and over again.”
Did you know that having a single link on a certain page is already counted? Yes, now that you know, at least inform your Ecommerce Web Designer that it’s not necessary at all to include or reserve a space for this links because there's no need to repeat it, “the anchor texts”, over and over as it only makes your site questionable to the user as well as to the search engines.
A much better approach is to link it to other pages or websites, say your blog, (more or less your blog also tackles, or a least, states something about the website you are optimizing) use different anchor texts, short tail or long tail, “a little more natural sounding” and you’ll be surprised with the results, not to mention you don’t need to worry about the “Over Optimization Penalty” in the future.

Do you really think you already know what SEO is all about? The real core about search engine optimization is explained in the simplest way where in non-techie people would actually understand. From the older post here in SEO BIMCS which talks about how the internet is a reflection of the real world, the real concept of SEO also echoes the real world.
SEO is an advance practice by internet marketers which helps search engines find and rank your site higher than the millions of other sites in response to a search query. SEO thus helps you get traffic from search engines and the section below will explain how.
Here’s a video produced by Search Engine Land works with Common Craft that explains thoroughly what SEO is and how it can help searchers find the most relevant stuff that they’re looking for.
Key points:For example when you are looking for the best internet marketing company in the web and want to know what’s the best services they can offer, you’ll end up searching a certain key phrase “Internet Marketing Service” on Google, Bing or Yahoo (Search Engines), you’ll get a list of results display. Each search results that you see is thoroughly filtered (In a much complex algorithm or process) by search engine in order to give the users what they really want.
Video Transcription: My own understanding about Rand Fish’s lecture, just correct me if I am wrong, or better yet give me your own view on how well you understand the topic.
Authenticity in Titles
We all know how important title’s are, it is used to attract search engine robots and make a user engaged into the topic. We also know that we should include our targeted keywords on our titles, but going way too overboard is a major no, no.
As Rand Fish stated “Titles should sound real, something that was written by a human” something that both search engines and humans can understand without losing interest (human) or being penalized (search engines).
Example: Using keyword repetition. It only makes your post look spammier, malicious, useless etc. Consequently, according to the video it is “One of the crappiest things”. You will rank in the major positions but, your click through rates will go way down.
How? Simple, you as a user search for "Internet Marketing Expert", the search engine robots will give you a list of websites having this keyword but, you as a human can distinguished what you are looking for, what information you need, and what website administer the information you are searching. Using a too malicious title only makes a user think twice, thrice or more before clicking your link, or never click at all, thus, click through rates decreases.

Its has been two decades since the first introduction of the very first web design, two decades of non stop developing, two decades of never ending “keeping up” two decades or learning new ways to established a much more better design for consumers.
From a simple design develop so that American scientist can easily understand to act as “transmission tool”, web design becomes even more enticing and easy to use due to the changing needs and updating technology of every generation.
As of the moment, web design is a very big part in terms of product and service promotion over the web. As Ecommerce started, countless Ecommerce Web Designers started to learn new ways to enhance their designs. And just as they are catching up with the latest changes, E-mobile comes into picture.
Due to the popularity of smart phones and tables, Ecommerce website owners saw the possibility of gaining traffic from this medium, thus, mobile ecommerce rise.
At first, it was really hard for Ecommerce Web Designers to shift from ecommerce web designing to mobile designing, but as the saying goes, keep on learning and one day you’ll get the proper formula. “To be able to gain traffic, thus resulting sales, the design also plays a major role, just the same as how Ecommerce Web Designs plays its part to increase its audience on the web”
Here are some tips that might help you if you are planning to go Mobile.
First is to create a homepage that is congruent to a portal, make your design in grid style so that browsing for other pages can be easily done. Create check out buttons that can be easily notice.
Use icons instead of texts, the reason is simple, by using icons it makes it easier for a user to spot and click whatever he/she is searching.
Make it readable, not too small and not too large, we don’t have enough space/screen (4 inches at the most) unlike a desktop or a laptop. A medium size is better, easy to notice, easy to tap.
Make your design clean, too much buttons, too much pictures and too much texts is hard for the eyes specially if there is only a 4” screen. Use drop down menus to categorize your products and services
And lastly, remember to indicate all services and products information accurately. Promos can be placed on the homepage, introduced an offer that only mobile users can avail. And please do pay attention to every detail as much as you are paying attention to your Ecommerce website.
How long has it been? Two decades, can you believe that? It’s been two decades since web designing started, some of you might not even born or still a small kid during the very first time a web design was introduced.
It started as a simple way of transmitting data, then new technologies arise to improve its use, web designing tools to make it even more interesting, now Ecommerce Web Designer's are still improving their skills to keep up with the fast pace changes in this industry.
